Class A Biosolids, Microturbines, Digester Gas Conditioning
Project Description:
Located just outside of Lansing, Michigan, Delhi Township was the first Comminity in Michigan to implement the IBES technology. Designed to handle 30,000 gallons per day of biosolids, the Delhi IBES is currently processing about 15,000 gallons of municipal sludge into Class A biosolids and producing 60 kW of electricity from the biogas created by the process.
As the plant capacity increases so will the electric generation capability. There are plans to ultimately produce 120 kW by adding an additional two 30 kW Capstone Microturbines idential to the two existing turbines.
